MINING · SUB-SECTION 01

Mining and metals

MINING & METALS

Public information on Central Asian mining rights is limited. A title that appears complete may stall because of one expired licence or an unresolved pasture land dispute.

We verify item by item from the title documents, extend to sampling, transport and smelting channels, and provide a decision basis appropriate to the project stage.

01 — WHY IT MATTERS

The value of a mining right
depends on whether the licence is still valid

Mining licences, exploration permits, land use and environmental approvals fall under different authorities. If any one is missing, the project cannot proceed to the next stage.

01
Licence does not match the actual working area

Permitted scope, coordinates and on-site working areas often diverge; encumbrances and seizures are usually not disclosed proactively.

02
Grade and reserve data are unreliable

Historical exploration reports are mostly commissioned by sellers; sampling methods, laboratories and analytical conventions must be re-verified.

03
Logistics and offtake channels not established

Transport permits from mine to border, customs classification and buyer acceptance capacity directly determine whether the project can generate cash flow.

02 — SCOPE OF WORK

Scope of work

Engage as a combined mandate,
or as a single workstream.

01
Title and licence verification

Authenticity and validity of title, consistency between permitted scope and working area, retrieval of encumbrance and seizure records.

02
Site survey and sampling

Local geologists are dispatched, samples taken by standard methods and sent to an independent laboratory, with comparison against historical data.

03
Transport and export routes

Practical verification of rail wagon allocations, road border crossings, customs classification and export licensing.

04
Transaction and offtake arrangement

Offtake terms, pricing mechanisms and settlement routes, with liaison to buyers and smelters.

“

Resources lie underground, value sits in the title, and risk sits between the two.
